You may be an experienced EAPC abstract submitter or this might be your first time submitting your work to EAPC congress. Either way, there is some essential information that you need to know about the abstract submission process for EAPC2025.
- This year we are using a new abstract submission platform. Our partners in this are ExOrdo. They have managed many scientific conferences and you may be familiar with them. If you are, then you can use your existing login details to access the EAPC portal. If you haven’t used ExOrdo in the past you will need to create an account. The platform is really user friendly and intuitive, and the help section (if you get stuck) is excellent.
- We have developed some new guidelines to support your submission. This year our scientific committee are interested in receiving both empirical and non-empirical abstracts. There is a handy guide on our website to help you structure your abstract depending on the type of work your are doing.
- The absolute deadline for submission is midnight (CET) on 31 October 2024. In previous years you may have been used to (expected even) an extension to the deadline, and the granting of which had become an EAPC tradition. However, this has led to complaints of inequity and unfairness in the system. So this year we are having one deadline and there will be no extensions.
