8th Public Health Palliative Care International Conference
The topic sets the scene for the next PHPCI Conference: come to Bern and build bridges with us! We cordially invite you to join the 8th Public Health Palliative Care International (PHPCI) Conference from 22-25 October 2024. Many competencies are needed to improve the currently inequitable experience of dying, caregiving, death and grief in our societies. PHPCI understands the end of life as the degree of social maturity that exceeds by far the notion of best medical care alone. The conference offers a unique opportunity to bring people with various professional backgrounds together from across the globe, in person or virtually, to share, learn and – build bridges.
Prior to the conference, the PHPCI Academy, the former summer school, will take place from 18-20 October 2024 in Münchenwiler, Switzerland. Junior and senior researchers/ scientists and project leaders are invited to submit their abstracts for ongoing or future projects. Do not miss this unique opportunity to meet international experts in the field of public health and palliative care. Let us further develop emerging topics, methods and discuss open questions for future projects. Places are limited to a maximum of 30 attendees – secure your place early!
