Senior Research Co-ordinator – In-Touch Project


(In-Touch: Implementation of a persoN-centered palliative care intervention To imprOve comfort, qUality of life and social engagement of people with advanced dementia in Care Homes)

The School of Nursing and Midwifery (University College Cork) is seeking a dynamic candidate for the position of Senior Research Co-ordinator. The role involves managing and implementing a dementia palliative care research program as part of a €7.5 million Horizon Europe-funded project. The project aims to improve the comfort, quality of life, and social engagement of people with advanced dementia in Care Homes.

The Senior Research Co-ordinator will work closely with the Project General Assembly and Consortium Executive Committee to contribute operational expertise in the implementation of In-Touch. She/He will also play a key role in the reporting schedule and ensure compliance with mandatory reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should be proactive, enthusiastic, well-organized, and capable of managing a heavy workload. They should have experience in supporting patients with advanced cancer and non-communicable diseases.
